A long-time resident of Randolph, originally from Roxbury, and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, passed away peacefully on December 18th surrounded by family and friends. He was 79 years old, born on August 22, 1935 in Boston.
Arthur was the beloved husband of the late Jacquelyn "Jackie" (McGaw) White. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly White of Randolph and Stephanie and her husband Manny Shulman of NY; and his grandchildren Annalece White and Alex and Michaela Shulman.
Arthur was the son of Alice Kearns and Harold White; brother of Irene and her husband William Morris of FL; and the late Lorraine Minor, Alice Higgins, and Adele, Leo, James, Robert, Thomas, and Harold White.
Mr. White worked as a baker for Dorothy Muriel's Bakery for many years before working as a materials handler with the Miller Golf Company. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially during the holidays and vacations. He was an avid golfer, Boston sports fanatic, and a flea market enthusiast. His prized possessions included his Disney, golf, and Irish "collections". He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) RANDOLPH, Monday at 8:15am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Bernadette's Church in Randolph at 9am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7pm.
Interment Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Late US Air Force Korean War Veteran.
