A group of 40 young men and women from the West New York assembly will visit the Salvation Army corps Oct. 16 at 8 o'clock and will take an active part in the service. Mrs. Robert Boyle. superintendent of the assembly, will accompany the group. Malte Carlson will preside over the service and Mrs. Ada Erickson will deliver the sermon. The musical program follows: Vocal duet by Mrs. Ada Erickson and Miss Lucy Renn; selection by 15 piece orchestra; vocal solo by Bernie Dodge; accordion solo by Samuel Leggio; brass quartet, composed of Miss Mae Billups, Malte Carlson, Miss Alice Carlson, Theodore Nagle; instrumental trio, John Leggio, Samuel Leggio and Nunzio Leggio; selection by orchestra; male quartet; medley of choruses by entire representation; vocal solo, Miss Alice Johnson.
The service will conclude with personal testimonies. The public is cordially invited.
The usual services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 o'clock and at 8 o'clock. Captain Herbert Fink will speak in the morning service on the theme, "Right Views of Things," and in the evening, "The Man Who Talked to Himself."
Other activities will include Sun day school at 2 o'clock, jail services from 8:30 to 4:30, Young People's meeting at 6:30 and open air meet ing, corner Main and Van Houten streets at 7:30. |
